Adapting the practice according to the menstrual cycle and symptom flare-ups

"She is always well-prepared for each class, making every session tailored to my needs. I love the somatic movements we did together, which made the sessions both relaxing and enjoyable. In addition, she plays the singing bowls so well and beautifully!
After just 5 months, I rarely have severe cramps anymore. The biggest difference, in my opinion, came from a shift in mindset that Fanny helped me achieve. She taught me about the nourishing yin qualities, the power of resting, and the connection between body and mind.
Instead of fear and annoyance towards my period, I now see it as a part of me and embrace whatever my body needs. This shift in perspective reduced my stress significantly, and I believe it ultimately led to the decrease in frequency of my cramps.
I’m super grateful and blessed for Fanny’s guidance and support. I would’ve never imagined that one day I’ll be without period cramps. Thank you sooo much, Fanny"

"I always look forward to my sessions with Fanny. She is mindful of my individual needs and has a very developed emotional intelligence. I fully trust her and she has been an immense support in my endometriosis managment journey.
I highly recommend her sessions to anyone who struggles with their cycle or just wants to improve their overall well-being. Her approach is gentle and highly effective!“

Understanding Endometriosis
Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory condition in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus. These lesions can lead to inflammation, scar tissue and adhesions, often causing pain that extends far beyond menstruation.
Symptoms may include painful periods, chronic pelvic pain, fatigue, digestive or bladder symptoms, pain during intercourse and, for some women, fertility challenges. Every experience is unique, and the severity of symptoms does not always reflect the extent of the disease.
Endometriosis in Numbers
-
1 in 10 women
Endometriosis affects an estimated 190 million women and girls of reproductive age worldwide, making it one of the most common gynaecological conditions.
-
4–12 years
On average, it takes 4 to 12 years to receive a diagnosis, meaning many women live with symptoms for years before getting answers.
-
More than period pain
Endometriosis can affect the digestive system, bladder, sexual health, fertility, energy levels and mental wellbeing—not just the menstrual cycle.
-
A whole-body condition
Living with persistent pain and inflammation can influence sleep, stress, relationships, work and overall quality of life, which is why comprehensive, person-centred care is so important.
